Frequently Asked Questions

“Do you groom cats?”

No. Our groomers are more equipped to groom dogs.

“Why is there a cancellation fee?”

We are an appointment-based grooming business and our groomers take one dog each at a time. Last-minute cancellations leave the groomer with an empty timeslot that can be difficult to fill at the last minute. This time could have been used by the groomer in a more productive way.

“If I don’t confirm my appointment, will it be automatically cancelled?”

No. We require you to let us know that you would like to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Often times customers do not confirm their appointment, and still come in for their allotted time. We will not assume that you want to cancel or reschedule your appointment just because you did not confirm. Appointments are only automatically cancelled by us the dog has not been dropped off after 30 minutes passed the agreed appointment time.

“Why is there a pet-sitting fee for late pick-up and early drop-off?”

We call owners before their dog is finished grooming so that they have some time to get to the store. This ensures that the dog will not be waiting long unattended. Since appointments are booked one after another, late pick-ups will require the groomers to take time out of other clients’ timeslots to keep an eye on the waiting dog. Some dogs may also have anxiety, and will make excessive noise that trigger similar reactions for other dogs that may be in the room/store. Early drop-offs may also take up time from dogs that are not finished with their grooming session.
